Lunar Calendar

Each moon (month) follows this simple formula for ease of keeping track of the lunar cycle for purposes of light levels at night (we'll assume the moon is always out at night) and things like lycanthropy, moon runes, etc, etc.

1st-5th = New Moon (no light)
6th-9th = Waxing Crescenet (poor light)
10th = Waxing Half Moon (moderate light)
11th-14th = Waxing Gibbous (moderate light)
15th-19th = Full Moon (good light)
20th-23rd = Waning Gibbous (moderate light)
24th = Waning Half Moon (moderate light)
25th-28th = Waning Crescent (poor light)

5 days of New Moon
9 days Waxing
5 days Full Moon
9 days Waning
